My name is Hunter Streff. I am a first generation pilot, with a passion for teaching. I have a long time interest in aviation, stemming mainly from my interest in space travel. When I was younger I always dreamed of becoming an astronaut, but never dreamed about how much school that would require. The long journey involving multiple advanced degrees, likely coupled with years of military service, just for a faint chance at ever blasting off was enough to deter me. So, while I am not able to explore other worlds at the moment, I am able to use my pilot’s license to explore our own planet.

My own flight training was done out of Centennial Airport in Centennial, Colorado. The natural challenges of the airspace, terrain, and weather of Colorado make it a unique classroom. Learning to fly out of a busy airport, underneath DIA’s airspace, in the four seasons, and at high elevation push the student to master every aspect of flying. While it was punishing at first, my body adapted to the rigors of my flight training, and I was soon exceling. I finished my flight training with not only my CFI, but also my CFII and MEI.
